The Eyre Peninsula Mining Alliance facilitated a series of Mining Careers Expos during the last week of March 2012...

Industry presentations and information booths helped answer common questions such as what kind of jobs the mining industry may bring to the Eyre Peninsula, when they will become available, what qualifications will be needed, and can these qualifications can be obtained.

The EPMA and its partners staged an afternoon session for schools and an evening session for anyone interested in mining careers. This included indigenous people (other than those in schools), the unemployed, people seeking career changes, and farmers/landowners seeking to develop additional skills applicable to the mining industry.
