Science Week - engaging with kids

SACOME and the South Australian Museum will be combining forces for Science Week (15-23 August) to provide an interactive display in the Museum’s arrival marquee. We will run challenging activities for children including mining chocolate chips out of cookies and identifying precious minerals to help young kids take an interest in the resources sector, and remind parents of the career opportunities available. We invite members to be involved by supervising the activities or providing merchandise or prizes (or money for a prize). If this interests you, please contact Emma Hughes by email; ehughes@sacome.org.au or phone; 08 8202 9999.
