Teaching and School Curriculum Documents

The STEM Digital Technologies Program is supported with curriculum‑aligned documentation and teaching resources, all accessible through this page. As students work through each challenge on the Grok Academy platform, teachers can also make use of the Teacher Notes tab, which provides step‑by‑step guidance, practical tips, and explanations that match the challenge slides students are viewing. This feature is available to teachers who are verified on the Grok Academy platform.
All student and teacher resources are aligned with the Australian Curriculum Version 9, making it easy to integrate the content into your existing teaching and assessment programs across both primary and secondary year levels.
Each challenge is supported by a comprehensive set of teacher resources that includes:
  • key features and educational value
  • a scope and sequence that links to the Australian Curriculum
  • a suggested structure for delivering the challenge across the two‑year band
  • additional pre‑challenge and post‑challenge activities are also included to help you extend or consolidate student learning.
For schools implementing Automation 1 and Automation 2, the curriculum documentation also provides fully developed lesson plans with ready‑to‑use classroom materials, instructional notes, and practical classroom management advice to support confident and effective delivery.

Grok Academy Teacher’s notes

Picture
Grok Academy delivers each challenge through a sequence of slides that may include information, multiple‑choice question, video or Problems for students to complete. Some slides also feature a Teacher Notes tab (students are unable to see this tab), offering additional guidance to support your teaching. When a slide requires students to write code, you will find a Load sample solution link that displays the final coded answer, making it easy to model solutions or assist students as they work.

If you cannot see the Teacher Notes tab, keeping in mind that it does not appear on every slide, it usually means your Grok teacher account has not yet been verified. If this happens, please refer to the Teachers Creating an Account and Signing On Guide for steps on how to complete verification. Any other issues please contact Grok Academy directly via the website.
