The BHP 2023 Women in Resources National Awards will be held at the National Portrait Gallery on Tuesday 5 September 2023. 13 - 15 October 2023 | Whyalla The South Australian Mines Emergency Response Competition (SAMERC) is designed to test the skills and knowledge of teams who would be called on to respond to a mine emergency. The Competition is an annual event.
The SA Mine Rescue Competitions have recently achieved their 13th anniversary in 2022, a huge testament to the personnel who compete, sponsor, host, volunteer and organise the event. We look forward to the continued support of the local and wider mining communities. This competition is aimed at providing a practical training experience in Mine Rescue Operations.
